Just wanted to let you and Eric know that we are stiill thinking of you guys and praying / fasting for you! It snowed about a foot of snow today and while i was freezing I was thinking that it might be cold for your beautiful head this time of year! (yes, in california) I'll have to find you a beani (sp?) to wear! We would love to see you guys when we come home around new years! We love you! |

COMMENTS:Hey sister Stolworthy. I was jsut thinking about you and thought I should let you know. I hpe you keep getting better. You are such an inspiration to me. I complain when I go through little problems, and you have gone through one bigger than anything I have been through, and yet you still keep smiling. That is so awesome. You are great, and I miss you soo much. After all of this is over, you should come and visit. I know everone would be glad to see you and hear from you. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

I just wanted you to know that I am a cancer survivor like you. I went through surgery, chemo and 40 days of radiation for cancer that turned up in my salivary gland in my mouth this year. It is also an unusual place for cancer and I know it has been a learning experience for my doctors. I just wanted to let you know that I pray for you every day, just as I do for myself and the sister of one of my best friends, who was just diagnosed with breast cancer. The following is part of my nightly prayers and I thought you might find it comforting.
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
I wish you the best for the coming year. Stay strong and never forget all the love in your life. |
