Hey Everyone,

The news just keeps getting better and better! On Wednesday, day twenty-two post transplant, I took Shelsi to her follow up appointment with Dr. Lill. Even he was amazed at how well her counts have come back up and how good she looks. All of her counts are normal except for her platelets which are almost there. She is obviously still weak and spends much of the time sleeping or napping, but when she is awake she is feeling stronger everyday.

Shel asked Dr. Lill how soon she could head back to the gym and get back to work. Surprised he told her to take her time, but in a couple of months if she continues to get stronger she can probably resume her normal life. WOW! We didn't know if this time would ever come - but here it is! Thank the Good Lord!

I've included a couple of great pix from yesterday of Shel & Eric when I dropped her off at home after we returned from her appointment and also a picture of her and her brother Jamin at the cancer center as we were leaving.

Thanks again everyone - we are so grateful to all of you.

Peace and abundance~

Sheri

Shelsi is the daughter of Sheri and Ric Hancock, and the wife of Eric Stolworthy. On Jan 25th, 2007, she was diagnosed with "Diffused Large B-cell lymphoma" -- in other words, Cancer. It manifested as an 14 cm mass in her chest that was pushing on her heart and constricting the blood flow to the rest of her body. She has completed her first round of Chemotherapy and Radiation treatments, but because a tumor was discovered in her brain it was necessary for her to undergo yet another round. She is now receiving radiation to the brain and if a subsequent MRI indicates she is free of cancer, she will undergo a stem-cell transplant. Her husband Eric, her parents Ric & Sheri and all the rest of her family and friends thank you dearly for all your prayers and support!
