Hi Everyone,

Well, I just spent another wonderful week with Shelsi. I also got to spend some time with Kira and my grand boys Tony & A.J. since that's where I spent my nights. It was awesome waking up to see those little boys and what a wonderful mother my young daughter Kira has become.

I am so incredibly happy to report that this week Shelsi had about the best 3 days that she's had in months. On Wednesday she got up at 8 a.m. and spent the whole day cleaning and organizing. When I laid down to take a nap in the afternoon, she kept on working. I pray this is a preview of things to come.

On Friday night, her nephew, my grandson Tony, had a church talent show that he was involved in, so we all went to support him. He did GREAT! He did a break dance and none of us knew how good he was (for a six year old). We were so proud of him. After the show we went back to the Sanoja's for a little b-day party for A.J. who will be 3 on October 4. He was very surprised and excited about the cake Kira had made for him.

Shelsi was starting to get a little tired by the end of the night but still had more energy and color than she's had for a long time. I've included some pix to demonstrate. Her hair is also coming back in pretty curly. It really looks cute. She still has swelling from the steroid Decadron that she's been on since her brain surgery but will be done with that in a couple of days and the swelling should go down rapidly. Obviouly, as you can see, she still looks beautiful.

Tuesday she will be admitted back to the hospital so they can hydrate her for 24 hours before starting her 3rd round of chemo. Hopefully after the 4th round they will do another Pet scan to see where she is at..

Thanks again for your amazing love and prayers - you all mean so much to us.

Love

Shelsi is the daughter of Sheri and Ric Hancock, and the wife of Eric Stolworthy. On Jan 25th, 2007, she was diagnosed with "Diffused Large B-cell lymphoma" -- in other words, Cancer. It manifested as an 14 cm mass in her chest that was pushing on her heart and constricting the blood flow to the rest of her body. She has completed her Chemotherapy and Radiation treatments. All indications are that she is doing much better and is well on the way to full recovery. Her husband Eric, her parents Ric & Sheri and all the rest of her family and friends thank you dearly for all your prayers and support!
