Hey all my wonderful friends and family! How are all of you? Thank you all so much for staying in touch with me! It means so much! I love you all! I'm sorry if you haven't heard from me. If any of you would like to contact me personally, you are more than welcome to write me a direct e-mail and I will write you back. Otherwise, keep reading the updates and writing in the guestbook! I love it!

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. In a few hours I will have completed my first week of radiation. YAY! It was so easy. I am in and out every day in about 15 minutes and most of that time is getting in and out of a hospital gown and getting lined up with the lasers. Three more weeks to go and I'll be a free woman! We're going to throw a big party and you are all invited to come! We don't know exactly when and where yet but we will keep you all informed. So I don't remember if it was said in any recent updates, but my eyebrows and eyelashes finally fell out completely. Before I even lost my last eyelash, though, new ones had already started to grow back in. The slowest growing hair is the hair on my head. You can tell now that it is starting to grow too, though. I can't see it but I can definitely feel it! It's very exciting! I've missed using a blow dryer, hair brush, curling iron and all that other fun girly stuff. It will be so amazing when I can finally wrap my wet hair up in a towel and smell the sweet fragrances of shampoo and conditioner hours after I've showered! I'm such a girl, I know.

Well, I guess the last thing I wanted to tell everyone, not that it's that big of deal, is that I have my PET scan at Cedars on Wednesday at 7 in the morning. Yikes! That's early! It will be nice to have it over with so I'll have the rest of the day to do stuff, though.

Again, I love you all and miss you! Thank you for all of your prayers, love, and support! You are all amazing examples to me! Have a wonderful weekend!

Shelsi from the hood -- 2

Shelsi is the daughter of Sheri and Ric Hancock, and the wife of Eric Stolworthy. On Jan 25th she was diagnosed with "Diffused Large B-cell lymphoma" -- in other words, Cancer. It manifested as an 14 cm mass in her chest that was pushing on her heart and constricting the blood flow to the rest of her body. She has completed her Chemotherapy treatments and has begun Radiation. All indications are that she is doing much better and is well on the way to full recovery. Her husband Eric, her parents Ric & Sheri and all the rest of her family and friends thank you dearly for all your prayers and support!
