Hi Everyone,

As I write this Shelsi and Eric are on their way home from her very LAST round of chemotherapy! Her spirits are very high just knowing that. She found a Radiation Oncologist in Camarillo where she lives, and asked Dr. Lill about him today while she was at the cancer center. Come to find out he knows about him and has heard good reports. So she will be making an appointment with him to begin her radiation treatments. Right now she gets a few weeks off – YEA!!!

They are waiting to get approval again for the next round of imaging studies which will tell a lot. With all the beautiful faith, belief, prayers and mainly love which encompasses all the aforementioned, there's no doubt the imaging studies will be miraculous! Shelsi was very happy to learn, from others who have been through it, that radiation treatments should be a piece of cake next to chemo. So she is extremely relieved right now, (I can hear the relief in her voice;-)

She is still anemic, but her counts are starting to come up a little with the iron shots they have been giving her. Her white counts are staying way up, which is awesome!

The fundraising event we are doing has generated amazing support.  Over $800.00 in just two days!  We feel so very blessed to know each and every one of you who has helped us in any way, whether it was through a special prayer or fast you did on Shelsi's behalf, or any number of other ways we've received support. We want you to know how much we love and appreciate you all!

So, we've made it this far on this journey, gathering new friends and growing in love along the way. May we continue with that love and pay it forward every chance we get. And, may the love you have shown us, return to you ten fold, and may your heart be light, no matter what you are called to bear.

In precious love and gratitude~

Sheri

Shelsi is the daughter of Sheri and Ric Hancock, and the wife of Eric Stolworthy. On Jan 25th she was diagnosed with "Diffused Large B-cell lymphoma" -- in other words, Cancer. It manifested as an 14 cm mass in her chest that was pushing on her heart and constricting the blood flow to the rest of her body. Now she is out of Intensive Care but is still undergoing Chemotherapy treatments. Her husband Eric, her parents Ric & Sheri and all the rest of her family and friends thank you dearly for all your prayers and support!
