Hi Everyone,
I just spent the afternoon with Shelsi for round
5 of chemo. After she finished her 8 hours of infusions we met with
Dr. Lill her oncologist. He is still struggling to get insurance
to approve new imaging studies so he knows if her cancer is in remission.
That requires a PET scan. Once he knows she is in remission he wants
to do 2 more rounds of chemo and then some radiation. As I understand
it, the mass in her chest was so big that her body just can't get
rid of all the dead cells on its own and it's not good to have that
much dead tissue sitting in your chest. The radiation will target
the dead cells and get rid of them. Her white count is back up to
high normal - all on her own. She is doing very well! No more fever
and she is in great spirits.
Gods hands, eyes, ears, and voice are US. He
gave Us the power to be proactive in our lives. We are the ones
that create His miracles. To truly believe that God is part of Us
and We are part of Him helps us become co-creators here on planet
earth and to become truly accountable for our very lives.
In joy, love and gratitude.
Sheri
