Retro Story --
A few days before Shelsi left the hospital, Les
July, the volunteer musician who has been so supportive of her,
came in to ask if she would be interested in participating in a
documentary the hospital was doing to honor the volunteers. Shelsi
has done a lot of work as an "extra" for TV and movies,
and being a singer, she is comfortable in front of a camera, so
she was happy to say yes.
At first they were just going to have the camera
on her with no speaking. But I think when they discovered how comfortable
she was, they decided to interview her. It went great! They invited
her and her family to come back when they honor the Cedars Sinai
volunteers one week in April, and they will also be sending her
a copy of the documentary. Here are a few pictures from that interview.
